Hidden Fifth Wheel Bodies

Also known as a Rancher body, these platforms can haul cargo and tow gooseneck trailers. The actual fifth-wheel or ball folds away into a storage area beneath the deck. This allows cargo to be put on the deck when a trailer is not hooked up. The deck itself is all steel, with reinforcements that attach the fifth wheel directly to the truck frame.
  • Headache racks can be customized with different configurations, lighting, and racking installations.
  • Decks can be equipped with specialized rear skirts to tow different types of trailers.
  • Toolboxes can be mounted below the deck, on the deck, or directly behind the cab.
  • Stake sides can be mounted into nominal stake pockets.  It is important to check gooseneck clearances to ensure sides are not damaged by the trailer when turning or driving onto slopes.
  • Hidden fifth wheel ball platforms are available in 9' - 12' lengths.  The length of platform may be limited by the turning radius of the truck and trailer.
